About Me & My Shop

My Background:

I am a blessed wife and stay-at-home boy & puppy mom who loves to create. I’m also a true Texas girl, with just enough Irish mixed in to make it interesting! I really enjoy sharing my passion for creating fun and meaningful things with others.

How I got started:

My passion for creating has been with me throughout my life, and I enjoy making things that can help others feel happy, inspired, and maybe a little less stressed, especially when it comes to creating items for future events, parties, showers, weddings, and anything that helps you make your house a home.

My creative style:

Inspiration can be found anywhere, and I take great pleasure in learning new ways of doing things, as well as finding ways to meet the needs of my customers by working to join them in their vision for all kinds of different projects. Everything you’ll find here at Erin Go Burns Designs will be handmade by me and my family. I enjoy not only working hard to do things right, but also putting love into each item.

Meghan’s Legacy Project – Schmegdome

This is a very special mission that is a part of Our Father's Children and Camp Akiva. This particular venture is dedicated to my sister, Meghan O’Connor, and is a special project my family has started in her honor. Please feel free to visit the link below to find out more, donate to the cause, or purchase from the items offered to help us raise funds for Megan’s Legacy Project – Schmegdome in honor of my sister, my friend, my guardian angel.

Our Father’s Children

OFC is a faith-based, non-profit organization that exists to reach out to children affected by abuse and neglect in North Texas. This organization accomplishes this mission through camps for young kids, retreats for middle school and high school students, and mentoring for teenagers. Volunteers are recruited from a variety of cities, churches and organizations, and have a heart for offering these kids hope in Jesus Christ. Whether as a volunteer or donor (or both), we would love to have you join us in giving hope to these kids! Visit the Our Father’s Children Home link for more info or to volunteer.

Camp Akiva

AKIVA (Uh-kee-vah): The meaning that inspired us the most was “protect or shelter”. God has blessed this camp to be a place of shelter to many who have not experienced it in their daily lives. Camp Akiva will be a safe and fun place where every person leaves revived, refreshed and reminded of God’s greater love that offers hope to everyone. Owned by OFC and the site where all camps, retreats and events for OFC take place, Camp Akiva is a refuge offering hope to kids of abuse and neglect and provides Christ-centered hospitality to all age groups in a setting separate from the pressures of the world. Visit the Camp Akiva Home link to find out more about the camp, or to find out how to book a camp/retreat for your group, family, or business today!
